Q1 Safety Meeting Update

Dear Starline Collection Team,

There are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at any Starline Collection site. The virus, however, is moving through communities throughout the world. While the majority of cases in Washington State have been linked to a single nursing home in Kirkland, we all need to be vigilant to protect each other every day.  The CDC is recommending that we:

  • Clean our hands more often,
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick,
  • Stay home if you are sick,
  • Cover coughs and sneezes,
  • Wear a facemask if you are sick,
  • Clean and disinfect touched surfaces frequently.

This is likely to get worse before it gets better.  As testing becomes more available, we’ll likely hear and read about new cases all over Washington.

In consideration of these issues, we have canceled all in-person safety and training meetings for the first quarter.  This is to adhere to the aspect of avoiding large groups for safety. We will continue to plan on the remaining schedule published here:

2020 Safety Meeting Schedule

In the meantime, please brush off your TDMOES (on-line learning system) password and User ID.  Login at https://www.tdmoes.com/login/  We have been and will continue pushing out information and training about the virus and educational content via that system in an effort to keep you safe.  This will be an addition to the current Monthly refresher and will be updated soon to compensate for the loss of in-person meeting time.
